Armstrong Floor Products Europe is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of flooring. With its range of products for commercial and residential properties, the company offers unlimited possibilities for virtually every kind of use. The range includes elastic DLW flooring (Linoleum, Vinyl, Luxury Vinyl) and textile flooring(fibrebonded carpet).. Almost all collections have only recently been updated and further optimised. Plastic flooring, design tiles and fibrebonded carpets are particularly popular in commercial and public buildings, such as schools, nurseries, hospitals, offices and chain stores, and also in both large and privately owned hotels. In addition, linoleum is often the flooring of choice among private property developers.

All the company's European activities are managed from Bietigheim in Germany. Together with Armstrong's various plants in Europe and the traditional DLW brand, these activities are encompassed by the umbrella brand Armstrong Floor Products Europe. Armstrong is represented all over Europe with its own customer service centres. The high level of customer satisfaction it enjoys is due, among other things, to the company's numerous services and its extensive product range, which covers all laying techniques. Armstrong Floor Products Europe belongs to the globally active Armstrong World Industries corporation based in Lancaster in the U.S.

LEED certificate
LEED stands for „Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design“ and certification is awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council. Introduced in the USA in 2000, LEED certification has rapidly developed into an international standard that enjoys an outstanding global reputation.

Der Blaue Engel (Blue Angel)

The Blue Angel is the oldest official environmental label worldwide and accordingly serves as a national standard in Germany considered as essential by many builders and architects. All of our linoleum coverings have been awarded the environment mark ‚Blue Angel RAL-UZ 38‘ for floor coverings made of wood or wood materials.

Environmental Management System EN ISO 14001

The international standard EN ISO 14001, introduced in 1996, is the most important global specification on what environmental management in a company must include and achieve. It aims to implement a continuous process to improve the environmental impact of a company. This includes reducing the consumption of resources, avoiding the use of harmful substances and lowering the CO2 and harmful substance emissions. 

Eco-devis

Eco-devis is the Swiss standard for the ecological specification of building products. Eco-devis examines materials and building services of comparable functionality with regard to their environmental impact and designates these accordingly. It aims to ensure the use of sustainable building materials in public buildings in Switzerland. Armstrong’s DLW Linoleum floor coverings and various homo- genenous DLW Vinyl coverings can be used to meet this requirement.

Armstrong has been committed to various initiatives to recycle vinyl floor coverings for many years. As such, in Germany we are a member of the ‚Arbeitsgemeinschaft PVC and Umwelt (AgPU)‘ PVC/environmental association and are shareholders in the ‚Arbeitsgemeinschaft PVC-Bodenbelag Recycling (AgPR)‘ PVC recycling association, which ensures that our floor coverings are recycled in a close-knit network of collection points. Our waste PVC floor coverings therefore serve as a valuable basis for the production of new vinyl products. Similar programmes are up and running in many other European countries, such as the ‚Operation Collecte‘ in France.
